The Autonomic Nervous System controls the &#8220;automatic&#8221; functions of the body that we do not consciously think about, such as heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, dilation and constriction of the pupils of the eye, kidney function, and temperature control. It comprises three distinct &#8216;systems&#8217;, the\u00a0 sympathetic, parasympathetic, and enteric nervous systems.\u00a0<\/p><p>Simply put, whatever the parasympathetic nervous system does, the sympathetic nervous system does the opposite.\u00a0 \u00a0 Because the sympathetic nervous system is commonly known to be involved in &#8216;fight or flight&#8217; responses (it prepares your body for activity like running from danger), if it is over-active due to the autonomic nervous system dysfunctioning, people can feel like they are being labelled as &#8216;over anxious&#8217; and being told their symptoms are not physical.\u00a0 This is not the case.\u00a0 It is important though to stimulate your parasympathetic nervous system to correct the imbalance.\u00a0 This is a healthy thing for ANYONE to do, even if they don&#8217;t have dysautonomia.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-6512eec e-con-full lubrication<\/li><li>controls penile erection<\/li><li>control peripheral
